Job Description
Bow and Ark Co, the proud owner of House of Cocoa Chocolate Shops, is looking to hire an experienced Architectural Interior Designer to work on the design of our new locations across Greater Cairo. The Architectural Interior Designer is responsible for the development and refinement of the overall project design from concept to schematic design through construction and project close out.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design commercial interior projects and participate in all phases of design development
- Collaborate with company owners, contractors and team members during the design development stage to ensure concept directions are considering during the design stage.
- Develop production of design details; research furniture options and create bid documents
- Preparation of presentation and design drawings
- Establish project budgets and schedules for the implementation stage
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Professional Degree in Interior Design or equivalent experience
- 10 to 15 years of Commercial interior design experience
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D Design software
- Experience with commercial projects from strategic planning and conceptual design through construction drawings and construction administration
- Thorough knowledge of the architectural practice with an emphasis on programming, planning, design, codes, building materials, and construction methods. This shall include a proper understanding of design deliverables of all stages.
- A working knowledge of structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering systems, for commercial spaces
- Understanding of all current Egyptian code requirements
