Job Description
Basic functions :
- RF Pre-Sales engineer is responsible to provide the technical advice & support for salesperson about all company portfolio to ensure an optimum & professional approach in dealing with customer needs
- He will be the focal point of contacting the customer regarding answering queries, providing technical advice, introducing products and all relevant issues
- He will take care for tenders/RFQs preparation in coordination with sales person to ensure optimum solutions submitted
- Keep communicating with the suppliers regarding products updates, solutions verifications, competition analysis and all relevant issues
Duties :
- Help sales to understand the exact customers' needs
- Creation of customer needs/solutions matrices
- Communication of our solutions to customers in coordination with salesperson
- Communicating complex configuration requirements
- Review supplier' newsletters and disseminate it to relevant staff in the company.
- Continuous updating on competitors’ products and creation/updating of product comparisons
- Creation of (Neutral) tender specifications.
- Best utilization of our demo pool
- Conduct training for our distributors
- Conduct technical presentation if needed
- Training (Technology, hands-on or application), maintenance, documentation of training
Job Requirements
- This position is required for a leading Egyptian solution provider for communications systems, radio communications, radio monitoring system & radiolocation...etc.
- BSc. in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Graduation grade to be at least good
- Graduation projects related to RF (Radio Frequency) systems is preferred
- Has a strong knowledge in all relevant fields (Microwave devices/ components, Antennas theory/applications, Modern digital communication systems,
- 1-2 years of experience in dealing with test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Digital Scopes) is preferred.
Skills:
- To be very good (written & spoken) in English
- Has a strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
- Has the basic knowledge of programming using any OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
- Has an excellent communication, negotiation& presentation skills
- Problem-solving & analytical thinking character
