Job Description
- Deliver across the entire app lifecycle
- Concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app and support.
- Work with senior developers on the work package effort estimation. Develop customized Mobile App.
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
- Work closely with another mobile app developer leading the other platform development.
- Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products.
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions.
- Work with the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps. Working with the front end developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features.
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences. Standardize the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.
- Optimize performance for the apps Keeps up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
- Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Reverse engineer for debugging errors in code
Job Requirements
- Experience of hands-on iOS development experience, including a thorough understanding of applications architecture.
- Ability to translate client goals into achievable technical specifications.
- Ability to define conceptual technology solution and articulate the value of technology to drive creative marketing platforms and present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical clients.
- Ability to leverage existing technology tools plus additional research and apply new and experimental technologies to achieve business goals.
- Ability to methodically estimate technology execution scope of work in terms of budget and resources.
- Experience in mentoring junior developers.
- Experience in Developing Apple Watch Apps.
- Experience in Integrating Apps with Beacons BLE and IoT equipment.
- Experience with multiple software development life cycles such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience creating architectural concepts and executing
- Integrating systems design using: Social Graph, User-generated content, CRM, CMS, E-Commerce, and Third Party APIs Specific technology skills include: Deep familiarity with Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Swift, CocoaPods.
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Text, Auto Layout and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Hybrid App technologies (Cordova, PhoneGap) and developing native iOS plug-ins
- Experience in publishing iOS apps in the app store, and/or distribution via Enterprise deployment Continuous integration (Buddy Build, Jenkins, other) Git, Github and GitFlow release methodology
- Unit testing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, mathematics or equivalent.
