Job Description
- Answer the switchboard or telephone
- Screen telephone calls and transferring callers to other members of staff
- Deal with enquiries regarding basic information, such as company contact details and office locations
- Take telephone messages for staff
- Meet and greet visitors, and directing them to their meeting or appointment
- Look after visitors, including offering them a drink
- Ensure that the visitors' book is kept up to date
- Issue visitor/security passes and ensuring these are returned on departure
- Take receipt of recorded post and courier deliveries
- Sort incoming mail for distribution and outgoing mail for collection
- Deal with email enquiries
- Keep staff updated with any company announcements
- Keep the reception area tidy
- Perform general administrative tasks, including responsibility for first aid, and health and safety.
- Delivery visitors and customer’s card visit to determine the role allowed him presence and receive personal achievement.
- Send daily reports required from the Administrative Services manager.
- Receiving and sending faxes own company.
- Is not allowed internal transport until after the passage of two years from the date of appointment.
