Job Description
- We are looking for a talented all-round designer with emphasis on UX/UI Design to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients.
- UX/UI Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
- Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.
- The other part of the job is general graphics and multimedia design to power our marketing campaigns.
- This job includes an intensive development program to help you develop cutting-edge skills and apply them directly on the job.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with other team members
- Conduct research on best UX design practices and evaluate different strategies to ensure minimum churn and best user experience
- Understand how UX/UI affects business outcomes and implement measures to enhance them
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Create multimedia creatives for marketing purposes
- Photo and video editing
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role is a strong plus
- Portfolio of design projects is a strong plus
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Balsamiq)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Lightroom and Photoshop
- HTML and CSS knowledge
- Angular 2+ knowledge is a plus
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
- You are a good listener, excellent negotiator and a problem solver
- Graduates from the Faculty of Arts, Graphics Department are preferred
- We will help you develop the right skills for the job. However, previous experience in at least one of the mentioned domains is preferred
- ITI (UX/UI Track) graduates are strongly preferred
