Job Description

Position Summary

  • The Senior Testing Specialist - CBT is responsible for the successful operation at the PROMETRIC/AMIDEAST/Cairo centers functions, identifying means to improve operational efficiency.
  • The Program Senior Specialist also plays a role in customer service and public relations in his/her responsibility for improving positive public awareness of AMIDEAST’s services in the community through PROMETRIC testing centers. The incumbent of this position must be results-oriented to ensure that tests are delivered successfully in a timely, secure, and professional manner

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Take required security precautions when candidate arrives for testing.
  • Supervise the Permanent and Temporary Testing Center Administrators.
  • Maintains sooth operations in Test Centers and might sometimes act as Test Center Administrator for both CBT and IBT exams in case needed.
  • Check in candidates, escort them into testing area, and instruct examinees on use of computer.
  • Monitor candidates while they are taking their tests.
  • Sign candidates out of the testing room when testing is complete, or for breaks.
  • Interview Test Center Administrators as needed
  • Assist the CBT Senior Testing Coordinator in the day to day testing operations
  • Provide security at the testing facility. Ensure all locks and security systems are properly used. TCA is responsible for holding keys to the testing facility during test administration.
  • Respond to temporary crises and difficult situations; e.g., technical malfunction. Act as representative of AMIDEAST/Prometric and proxy for the testing client.
  • Answer telephone inquiries and provides information about testing to candidates.
  • Develop periodical requested reports for upper management as scheduled.
  • Keep a complete database of Test Center Administrators as well as their attendance.
  • File irregularity reports for unusual situations and handle follow-up with clients.
  • Schedule proctors on weekly basis during absence coordinators and senior specialist II.
  • Open extra test dates to accommodate testing sessions upon request from Prometric.
  • Communicate regularly with Prometric Channel Support.
  • Work on multiple projects within the testing departmen
  • Perform in projects team-work
  • Research customer issues and concerns and respond where needed
  • Handles all escalated calls in a professional and positive manner
  • Assist and participate in fairs to promote testing products

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Certification: Nothing in particular
  • Experience: 4-6 years
  • Very good reporting skills
  • Very good user of Microsoft word, expecially word and excel
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) – Fluency is required.
  • Keeping high confidentiality to work process due to job nature
  • Self-motivated

Physical demands:

  • Standing for long periods of time during Administring Tests
  • Ability to work beyond normal working hours when required due to business needs

Specific Qualifications for the position:

  • Passing PROMETRIC certification exam.
  • Taking PROMETRIC online training course.
  • Taking training on the SWR &UAS PROMETRIC system.
