Job Description
Regional accounting and financial system support of all AMIDEAST field offices located throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supporting field offices in all accounting aspects
- Support field office accountants with AMIDEAST’s financial system (Deltek Costpoint) problem solving
- Assist in updates of monthly exchange rates ensuring that internal policies and procedures are being followed
- System employee/project number linking after initial project set-up
- Follow-up and assistance with monthly bank reconciliations
- set-up the venders & customers and maintenance process ensuring standardization and consistency
- Validate accuracy of Labor Distribution reports before processing
- Assist with FO severance accounting process and entries
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2 years in a General Accounting capacity, or equivalent experience
- 1-year experience using Deltek’s Costpoint software, preferred, or other ERP system.
- Extensive experience using MS Excel
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- A solid understanding of accounting principles
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resourceful in a team environment
