USAID-funded Project Workforce Improvement & Skill Enhancement (WISE)
Project Description: The USAID-funded WISE project provides expertise to help upgrade the country’s technical and vocational education and training system, enhance connections between employers and training centers, and create local partnerships for economic development. With an emphasis on youth and females, MTC International and its partners- Amideast provide capacity building and training for stakeholders and counterparts to: (A) upgrade technical secondary education to meet the needs of the market in selected governorates and sectors; (B) improve skills and productivity of the workforce in selected sectors and governorates; and (C) improve labor market efficiency and advocacy for workforce development.
Reporting and Supervision: Amideast WISE project lead
Location : Dokki Office
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare necessary documentation for contracts of consultants and service providers
- Support the recruitment process for required full time and part time employees
- Methodically process project payment documents and maintain financial records
- Report to the Project Lead the follow up status on the completion of all required project timelines and milestones deadlines with employees including their time sheets
- Provide administrative support for meetings, workshops, travel arrangements
- Support smooth implantation of project activities
- Liaise with external providers and Wise counterparts for all planned activities and ensure the thorough documentation of all processes and requests.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in Business administration or any relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project administration
- Previous experience in USAID or other donor projects is a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work as a cooperative team member
- Ability to travel throughout Egypt.
- Proficiency in English and fluency in Arabic required.
- Ability to use a variety of PC software: Word, Excel, Power-point, etc.
