Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.

Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement.

Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases.
Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs.

Experience with Virtualization (VM-ware / V-Sphere)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems
Experience in managing Windows servers in an enterprise environment, MCSE/MCITP is a plus
Microsoft Networking: Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS
Experience in Linux system management (scripting, monitoring, conf file editing etc…)
Experience in Postfix e-mail system management
Familiarity with enterprise-level network devices (firewalls, load balancers, DMZ, etc.)
LAN/WAN IP network infrastructure, sub-netting/segmenting
Experience with implementing monitoring tools
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and problems-solving skill
Ability to demonstrate superior customer service
