Job Description
- To coordinate the activities of quantity surveyors and the administration of the prime contract and subcontracts on a company project.
- To ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- To prepare of subcontracts agreements and amendments thereto.
- To monitor the performance of awarded subcontracts, checking, agreeing, and certifying monthly payments and final accounts.
- To supervise the re-measurement of works where appropriate.
- To assist with review and settlement of claims raised by subcontractors or suppliers.
- To assist with the preparation of change orders to the prime contract between company and client.
- To assist with the progress payment applications.
- To coordinate the monthly reports and statistics of the contractors.
- To prepare contract schedules and monitoring progress.
Responsible for:
- Certification of works.
- Valuation and agreement of any variations to contract.
- Project cost forecasting.
- Preparation and agreement of final accounts.
- Technical and practical knowledge of all phases of contract development.
- Award, administration and closeout relating to a multi-discipline construction project.
Job Requirements
