Job Description
- Develop the design rationale and explain Wireframes and Mockups to front-end developers verbally and visually (PSD or AI).
- Produce high-quality visual designs—from concept to execution, including those for desktop, web, and mobile devices at a variety of resolutions (icons, graphics, and marketing materials).
- Create and iterate on assets that reflect a brand, enforce a language, and inject beauty and life into a website. This means keeping Consistency in the design for a single client, derived mainly from their logo.
- Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of approaching (and solving) a problem.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Core design skills ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.
- Ability to use visual design to organize information and guide people through the tasks.
- Experience defining design systems that work across a complex product.
- Preferred qualifications.
- Experience designing outstanding web-based and/or mobile apps.
- Ability to create design guides to be used cross-functionally.
- Interaction design sensibility.
- Experience collaborating with user researchers, content strategists, product managers, and engineers.
- Fluency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe XD.
- Strong attention to detail.
