Job Description
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
- Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment.
- Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
- Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
- Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
- Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
- Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
- Write supporting code for web applications.
- Communicate with network personnel or web site hosting agencies to address hardware or software issues affecting web application.
- Identify or maintain links to and from other web application/sites and check links to ensure proper functioning.
- Assisting in any additional tasks requested by Direct or Unit Manager.
Job Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- B.Sc. of Computer Science or equivalent.
Technical skills:
- Must: OOP, C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server Development, HTML, CSS, Jquery, SOAP Web Services, REST APIs, SharePoint Development (Required for only one resource and can be preferred to the other one).
- Preferred: ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, ASP.NET Core, Database Administration, Xamarin
Personal skills:
- Strong command of English language, written and spoken.
- Willing to travel for short and long periods.
