Job Description
- Assist with coordinating and implementing Alumni programs.
- Coordinate and follow up networking events.
- Assist with the planning and coordinating of special events for alumni and serves as liaison SU’s Alumni Association.
- Coordinate job fairs for SU graduates.
- Help in coordinating fundraising campaigns.
- Encourage donations to support bursaries, research and university development.
- Coordinate and implements alumni fundraising efforts.
- Establishe and builds relationships with a wide range of alumni, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; maintain regular communication with alumni via direct contact, email blasts, alumni web pages, and print publications.
- Coordinate alumni communications, including writing/editing of alumni newsletters and/or magazines.
- Help in research, write, edit and proofread newsletters, fundraising letters, event materials and website pages.
- Keep the department’s media contact list up to date and following up with media contacts after the college sends press releases.
- Maintain alumni database accurate and up to date.
- Write student graduation certificates, replacement certificates, and new copies of transcripts
- Verification of education letters and academic references via the Alumni Relations Team.
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Excellent Command of English.
- Good communication and customer orientation skills.
- Excellent user for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
