Job Description
- Developing test capability within Control Techniques, both in terms of infrastructure and the team
- Validating Control Techniques products against customer and market expectations
- Verify the products meet requirements
- Plan, design, build and execute effective tests
- Design and build test environments including automated environments for testing CT products
- Act as quality advocate on projects
- Document all work to aid repeatability and audit
- Liaise with other project members
- Manage document reviews on projects
- Pursue quality issues to conclusion
- Design and build test environments
- Work in a multi-project environment
- Work to agreed timescales and project plans
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in real time, full embedded software product testing
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet
- Experience in testing products
- Experience of running and creating interoperability tests
- Ability to interpret specifications, develop appropriate test plans and manage them through to completion
- Experience of MS Test Manager, TFS and Jenkins
- Experience in white and black box testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
