Job Description

The role will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead all marketing and press activities.
  • Development and implementation of platform-specific social media strategies, which aim to position GOBITES as a visual-lifestyle-leader in the food industry.
  • Lead the design team to create the best possible, social-ready imagery, videography or other designed output necessary for the execution of each strategy.
  • Creating conversations and engaging with opinion formers on social media.
  • Researching and monitoring brand related topics and social media trends with a view to advising the team on best practice.
  • Writing blogs for the GOBITES website & social media outlets
  • Organizing and managing all consumer-facing events that GOBITES are involved with.
  • Reaching out to on-brand events and building partnerships.
  • Analyzing and creating monthly reports on our involvement with all events and looking at how we can maximize return on investment.
  • Managing STUDENT BRAND MANAGERS program
  • Day-to-day management of events sent to us from our team of Student Brand Managers nationwide.
  • Assisting in the implementation of marketing campaigns that are aimed at the student market.
  • Continuously building a community for Student Brand Managers on Facebook.
  • Monitoring and analysis all youth trends with a view on advising the team on best practice and future campaigns.
  • Creating monthly reports on all activity performed by Student Brand Managers.

Job Requirements

  • GoBites, is looking for a Brand Manager to join their passionate team. This person will be a highly organized, energetic candidate with at least 2 years experience within an agency, or client side in a brand manager or assistant brand manager role, who is hungry to build the strengths of the GoBites new brands. As well be the first leaders in our organization as part of our journey.
  • They would preferably have prior experience working in Egyptian snacks market, delivering brand tool kits and responsibility for brand guardianship and good experience managing budgets and people.
  • The perfect recruit would have a track record of challenging the status quo and would thrive on opportunities to do so.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills to be able to manage and influence teams.
  • Genuine passion for social media and content creation.
  • An understanding of the media and social media landscapes.
  • Confidence to network and share the energetic ethos of GoBites
  • Able to respond to pressure & think creatively.
  • Be interested in what motivates people.
  • Strong organizational skills.
