Job Description
Gobites is searching for purchasing and Logistics manager to lead our logistics and purchasing operations. The role requires establishment of systems to enable & facilitate daily business operations. It also requires close coordination between different functions while optimizing operations to maintain costs and efficiency. The Candidate will lead purchasing activities with our key suppliers and work on finding cost saving opportunities and ground-breaking deals for raw and pack materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day in day out logistics and operations to facilitate daily business interactions.
- Order raw and pack materials ensuring day to day operations based on safety stock and our sales forecast.
- Coordinating shipping and receival of raw and finished products.
- Develop database of Raw and pack suppliers.
- Building and maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers.
- Developing supply chain work frame and coordinating purchasing, delivery and contract creation with suppliers.
- Negotiate better purchasing terms with our key suppliers and focus on cost reduction program.
- Organize material handling and operations within the plant.
- Maintain proper book keeping of operational logistics.
- Organize daily routine for workers and transactional processes.
- Develop & maintain systems for internal control.
- Handle all office & plant logistics requirement with external parties and/or governmental agencies.
- Synchronize our shipping and administrative processes to ensure timely delivery of business commitments.

- Experience within food industry is preferable
