Job Description
- Work within an Agile multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver user-interface designs and journeys across our website, app and other digital platforms.
- Work closely with a wide range of people from across the business to understand and interpret requirements, identify opportunities, and communicate design strategy and rationale.
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
- Provides design direction and vision for the project
- Coordinates with the scrum master to ensure the team is working on the correct items
- Creates visuals (wireframes, color palettes, etc.) that can be used to apply the proper design for the product
- Creates assets that will be used within the product
- Responsible for designing the new and updated user experiences, creating concepts, visual mockups and specifications, and representing the designs to the product team.
- Provides support to the dev / QC teams to ensure designs are followed
Job Requirements
- In addition to excellent interaction and visual design skills, strong candidates should have experience thinking in terms of end-to-end UI design, applying strategic thinking and business goals to designs, focusing on user feedback, and understanding the relation of visual design to the interaction
- Possess a passion for all things design, with the ability to demonstrate this passion through your work and when communicating with business stakeholders and customers.
- Have a mix of User Experience and User Interface design skills – including interaction and Information Architecture design, psychology and user-centred design principles.
