Job Description

- You will be responsible for delivering Magento solutions to real world e-commerce problems.
- In this full-time position, you will be on the development team responsible for:
- Developing new features, websites and extensions in Magento platform.
- Writing well organized, robust code with maintainability and scalability in mind.
- Provide time estimates for the implementation of features/functionality.
- Follow common web standards and development methodologies.
- Research and recommend new technology to enhance user experience
- Integrating 3rd party API's and interfaces with our client sites.
- Automating manual processes using scripting languages.
Job Requirements
Required Technical Skills:
- Expertise in database concepts (MySQL)
- Competent with MVC & PHP object-oriented programming
- Strong knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries
- A desire to be personally responsible for production-level code
- Ingenuity to leverage all the tools at your disposal
- Comfort working with Linux in a web-oriented context
- 2-3 year of experience in PHP Development
Bonus Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Magento configuration options.
- Strong knowledge of Magento-specific data organization.
- In-depth knowledge of PCI compliance and other e-commerce industry topics.
- Knowledge of optimization, caching, and scaling techniques.
