Job Description
- Receive customer's inquiries about Shipping Line services and respond to them promptly with the accurate information.
- Receive the customer shipping declaration or provide assistance if needed to fill it.
- Check the customer reference for service rates to be included on the shipping declaration.
- Send customer booking note to SL for imported shipments.
- Prepare with the Sales Manager a weekly plan to approach customers (new / old) either by visits or telesales activities, and report the results back to him.
- Send rate requests after taking authorization from Sales Manager.
- Send free time extension requests to SL .
- Achieve the required target either in form of TEUs or adding new customers to the company database.
- Collect any market information (client lead, competing services, competitor's rates, ....etc) and relay it to the sales manager.
- Prepare periodical reports that summarize the sales activities and performance achieved.
- Replay any of the customer's operational inquiries or complaints to the CS & Operation Unit for reply.
