Job Summary:
- Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants for a variety of technical positions, including software and embedded systems engineers, system administrators, computer programmers, and database administrators.
Job Description:
- Source, interview, and select applicants for technical positions.
- Meet with hiring managers to determine job duties.
- Write job descriptions.
- Match applicants to job openings.
- Source for future job openings.
- List job postings on social media, corporate career websites, and other possible channels.
- View applications.
- Call applicants and perform phone screens.
- Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and whom they will be speaking with during the interview.
- Interview applicants.
- Hand out and grade assessments.
- Create the portfolio of possible candidates for the hiring manager.
- Check references.
- Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits.
- Forecast budgets for recruiting expenses.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years experience recruiting for high level, technical or unique positions.
- Previous recruiting experience within the computer software and embedded systems industries is preferred.
