Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants for a variety of technical positions, including software and embedded systems engineers, system administrators, computer programmers, and database administrators.

Job Description:

  • Source, interview, and select applicants for technical positions.
  • Meet with hiring managers to determine job duties.
  • Write job descriptions.
  • Match applicants to job openings.
  • Source for future job openings.
  • List job postings on social media, corporate career websites, and other possible channels.
  • View applications.
  • Call applicants and perform phone screens.
  • Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and whom they will be speaking with during the interview.
  • Interview applicants.
  • Hand out and grade assessments.
  • Create the portfolio of possible candidates for the hiring manager.
  • Check references.
  • Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits.
  • Forecast budgets for recruiting expenses.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience recruiting for high level, technical or unique positions.
  • Previous recruiting experience within the computer software and embedded systems industries is preferred.
