Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for developing and implementing OD programs that align workforce with key business strategies and initiatives. Work collaboratively at all levels of the organization to ensure effective team operations, clarity of roles, and employee engagement. Actively support continuous improvement and change management within the organization aligned to corporate priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs to align work force and key business initiatives through use of organizational effectiveness interventions.
- Assist the organization in areas of leadership development, organizational redesign, team development and change management.
- Operate as an organizational leader | internal consultant to identify, develop and implement business processes and organizational effectiveness interventions, as and when required.
- Act as a change agent providing the support and mechanism to implement major changes to the operations of the business and provide coaching to leaders and executives on organizational growth.
- Manage the process of replacement planning, succession planning, key employee retention design, change management, workforce management and development.
- Participate in the Designing, implementation and delivery of policies and procedures that support business objectives and are aligned with the organization's business plan.
- Support organizational planning including creation of organizational charts, review of roles and responsibilities and job descriptions.
- Develop and implement competency framework & models.
- Oversee employee compliance with all performance management processes (annual performance review process, goal setting, probationary reviews, employee development planning). Responsible for timely completion of performance reviews and evaluations for all employees.
- Identify and monitor company culture so that it supports the project's goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
- Develop methods for data file formatting, data analysis methodologies, and management reporting.
- Diagnose potential organizational problem areas.
- Track and communicate progress, obstacles and challenges to all key stakeholders.
- Conduct employee engagement focus groups within offices and operating locations to discuss staff concerns and suggestions.
- Build trust with employees and assess the degree of employee satisfaction and engagement that exists in a department or in the organization.
- Keeps up to date on OD best practices.
- Reviews monthly, quarterly, half year and annual OD reports to provide accurate information for decision making.
Job Requirements
Education:
- B.Sc. of Business Administration, HR Management, Psychology, or another closely related field.
Years of Experience:
- 5-7 years in OD, Manufacturing Industry is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate; resolve conflicts, coach managers and employees and work in a team-based environment.
- Strong creativity and ability to think “outside the box.”
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel and Power Point) is a must.
- Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong follow-through required.
