Job Description

Job Purpose

This role has a core focus on Employee Relations, supporting the development and delivery of Employee Relations strategies and activities using internal and external insights to develop an ER strategy, policies and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an employee relations strategy and plan, with a focus on developing a positive ER climate during complex organizational change.
  • Work closely with all other areas of HR to design and deliver strategies, policies and practices that are aligned with the El-Sewedy’s purpose, objectives and values
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by providing advice to employees about company, governmental rules, regulations, procedures, and need for compliance with handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Conduct conflict management activities.
  • Design, develop and delivery effective communication through (Plans, Screens, Newsletters, Videos, and Reports) with all levels of the organization.
  • Design, develop and delivery effective motivation & retention programs.
  • Support and align cultural and behavioral change necessary for all ER programs.
  • Develop the ER shared service team, with a focus on developing a positive ER climate, delivering consistent support and advice via multiple channels (face to face, online, phone etc..) and across all professions in (medical, communication and administrative)
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
  • Undertake regular analysis of ER activity and related workforce data, taking appropriate action, be that immediate response or development of longer term plans.
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
  • Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs, and conduct social activities programs.
  • Reviews weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year and annual HR reports to provide accurate information for decision making.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • B.Sc. of Business Administration or related field.
  • 8 to 10 years experience in ER, Manufacturing Industry is a must.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Dynamic and energetic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel and Power Point) is a must.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Dedication, Motivation, Integrity and excellent team spirit.
