Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Perform integration testing, functional testing, user interface testing, user experience testing, and data testing.
- Write simple queries with an understanding of basic database architecture; incorporate data validation and data mining into test activities
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
- Assist with designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
- Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing
- Investigate, recreate and document steps for reproducing the reported defects in application environments
- Execute other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is user/customer focused
- Understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies and the software development life cycle
- Computer science graduate is preferred
- Entry Experience working in an agile software development life cycle
- Entry Experience establishing and implementing methods for testing and measuring software quality that adhere to the organization's and client's software development standards and guidelines
- Previous work with automated test tools such as Microsoft Test Manager or Selenium
- Previous work with defect tracking systems (Mainly: JIRA)
