Job Description
- Preparing tender documentation including cost summary sheets, risk assessments and approval documentation.
- Submitting completed tender proposals to meet customer deadlines.
- Complete tender follow-up and negotiations.
- Review enquiry documentation and assist with the formulation of order winning strategies.
- Revises the offers to accommodate client’s comments whenever required
- Provide indicative pricing support for business development.
- Build and maintain pricing / estimating databases and ensure outturn costs are captured and fed back through the system.
- Identify opportunity and risk during the tender process.
- Maintain a register of key assumptions within estimates and pricing.
- Read and understand customer’s RFQs and specifications
- Assess risks associated to the RFQ
- Timely management of tender activities
- Keeps track of expected projects (targeted projects) in consultation with Sales
- Obtaining feedback from when tenders are unsuccessful in order to improve.
- Give guidance with business and marketing development
- Coordinates different stakeholders in various departments in order to have a coherent offer and to respect delays
- Tackles challenges met by various stakeholders and helps finding solution
- Responsible for costing the offer
- Controls reliability of the quotations (prices, contractual conditions and gross margin)
- Assesses within the team the tools, methods, competencies and proposes all necessary improvements and changes
- Build Profit & Loss scenarios (worst / best case scenarios)
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in Engineering
- At least 7-10 years of experience in Tendering
- Good knowledge of financial aspects
- Very good knowledge/ experience in Commercial Risk
- Hands on experience in Microsoft office and Tendering Tools
