Job Description
- Perform complex mechanical building design and possess the ability to perform that design in REVIT and AutoCAD software
- Strong engineering background and understanding of Dialux ans load calculation
- Perform load calculations with industry software (ex. Trace Trane) and Microsoft Excel or other related software.
- Manage and execute assignments and assume ownership as the Electrical Engineer on projects.
- Provide support and/or understanding of project management in large and complex projects
- Collaborate with other internal and external disciplines to ensure proper building design
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering required or equivalent work experience required.
- P.E. or chartered registration is required preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in electrical design, engineering or related field required
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM required.
- Working knowledge of Energy model results analysis required.
- Working knowledge of HAP required
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE, ASPE and NFPA.
- LEED AP preferred
- LV
- Experience in Dialux calculation
