Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Web Developer who knows how to balance a passion for logic and problem solving with a keen eye for design to join this growing team.
Responsibilities Includes:
- Writing clean, elegant, accessible, and performant PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
- Problem solving on the fly using various resources and debugging methods to diagnose and execute solutions independently.
- Working seamlessly with Designers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to translate designs/wireframes into frontend code.
- Working closely with frontend platforms using (PHP) to create next generation site features.
- Understanding and employing engineering and optimization best practices with regard to frontend web standards, code maintainability, page rendering, and browser performance.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Experience developing complex software applications from detailed requirements
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Front-End development utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery/Ajax/Bootstrap)
- Proficient in Back-End development utilizing PHP (Laravel/Symfony)
- Experience with RESTful services and JSON
- Experience working with version control technologies such as Git, TFS, or SVN
- Experience with Relational Databases such as MySql
- Experience working with non-relational data stores such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experienced in all phases of software development
- Self-starter that works well independently as well as in a team
- Ability to write clean, self-documented code
- Troubleshoot problems with applications and services
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience Unit Testing is a plus
- Experience with Continuous Integration Systems is a plus
- Node.js is a plus
