Job Description
- Establish and maintain a Contact Register.
- Facilitate and coordinate best practice in tendering and contracting activities.
- Reviewing draft tender documents for compliance with standards.
- Managing tender box openings. Coordinating tender evaluation processes.
- Assist with the preparation of tender recommendations for approval under delegated authority.
- Preparing contract documents for signature, arranging the signing of contract documents.
- Managing the recordkeeping requirements of the tender and contracting processes.
- Manage contracts assigned to the position to ensure compliance with specifications and service delivery standards.
- Develop and maintain a preferred supplier database.
- Develop and maintain a reporting system for contractor and supplier performance.
- Develop and maintain a reporting system which measures the contribution of the procurement process.
- Negotiate best price and payment terms for RSB.
- Issue purchase orders and payment requests on time.
- Follow up on delivery of product and/or
- Analyze offers from supplier against his order and competitive orders
