Job Description

  • Establish and maintain a Contact Register.
  • Facilitate and coordinate best practice in tendering and contracting activities.
  • Reviewing draft tender documents for compliance with standards.
  • Managing tender box openings. Coordinating tender evaluation processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of tender recommendations for approval under delegated authority.
  • Preparing contract documents for signature, arranging the signing of contract documents.
  • Managing the recordkeeping requirements of the tender and contracting processes.
  • Manage contracts assigned to the position to ensure compliance with specifications and service delivery standards.
  • Develop and maintain a preferred supplier database.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting system for contractor and supplier performance.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting system which measures the contribution of the procurement process.
  • Negotiate best price and payment terms for RSB.
  • Issue purchase orders and payment requests on time.
  • Follow up on delivery of product and/or
  • Analyze offers from supplier against his order and competitive orders
