Job Description

  • Conducts market research and competitor analysis and identifies points of competition.
  • Strategic planning and management of marketing and outreach activities.
  • Monitoring all the eco-system events and headhunting of good teams and startups to join the incubation cycles.
  • Responsible for featuring our companies and providing appropriate representation for them to contribute to the overall brand image of the incubator.
  • Manage social media for the center across social network platforms on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and monitor metrics
  • Performs and supervises all communication, outreach, marketing, public relations, and media duties related to the incubator.
  • Initiate outreach, interview founders for profiles and cover events for inclusion.
  • Construct quarterly newsletter and annual newsletter for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish the Business Development Department and grow its community of sponsors and programmatic support and stewardship functions.
  • Find, meet, track, rank, and monitor a pipeline of prospective companies that could be good candidates for support.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous community management experience in start up environment is a necessity. The more experienced you are, the best you can understand the expectations of this startup scene.
  • Previous relevant experience in event management for large parties (200+). Previous experience in start-up & corporate environments (6 months+) & strong understanding of the tech & startup industries.
  • Previous experience with project management & working with 3rd party suppliers such as training providers, consultancy companies, and individual freelancers etc. is a necessity.
  • Excellent ability to read, write and speak English
  • Excellent understanding of various work & social cultures
  • Strong belief in getting things done - it is important to have drive, ownership, and execution. You have to be comfortable working alone and in a group and be capable to prioritize and make things happen.
  • Strong belief and understanding of our core EdVentures values.
  • An ability to connect - comfortable in new environments and more importantly loving engaging with new people and circumstances. You must be able to network and connect with different types of people.
