Job Description
- The role’s main responsibilities are the implementation of the project’s design and the execution of mechanical/electrical drawings, generic plant layouts and engineering specifications. Primary tasks will be to support
- The development and direct sales procedures of pre- construction projects
- The project and asset management procedures of under-construction or post-construction projects.
- Reviews engineering documentation. Approves specifications and data-sheets related to the materials and components.
- Supervises the laying and termination of LV and MV cables and electrical equipment.
- Inspects the physical works carried out by teams to ensure quality of all construction.
- Ensures the requirements of contract and engineering documentation are carried through to construction.
- For compliance with safe and efficient operation and H&S requirements
- Reporting at a professional level regarding the above activity
- Reviews engineering documentation. Approves specifications and datasheets related to the materials and components.

- Inspects the physical works carried out by teams to ensure quality of all construction.
- Ensures the requirements of contract and engineering documentation are carried through to construction.
- Ensures lock-out and permitting procedures are followed when working with electrical systems.
- Provides safety supervision at the site, reviewing method statements and procedures.
- Provides the Electrical Engineering experience to make informed decisions on contractor quality and execution methods.
- Reports to Construction Manager
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English and Arabic, written and oral
- 2-3 years working on complex petrochemical / industrial plant / power plant builds in similar role.
- EPC contract familiarity and ability to determine and prepare engineering specifications and requirements in a contractual format
- Implement PV Plant Design procedures and carry them out
- Ability to evaluate specifications and PV Plant Design
- PV plant experience is required.
- Previous experience in electrical construction and commissioning works required.

- Experience with photovoltaic plants at design and operation level
- Knowledge of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering principles
- Experience with key PV plant performance parameters and monitoring platforms
- On site assessments familiarity
- Ability to carry out structural/mechanical/electrical/civil
- Full working knowledge at a professional level on
- CAD software systems.
- Optional: 3D SolidWorks
- Full working knowledge of PVSYST and other related PV simulation tools
