About the Job
- Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
- Implement physical inventory counts for warehousing.
- Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances.
- Report on margins by product and department.
- Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to company legal and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
