Position Description:
- Responsible for assisting the manager with the daily operations of all functions of the Admissions Department.
- Manages academic records for all current and former students and supervise grading, records’ editing functions, the production of transcripts, enrollment/degree verifications & course changes (e.g. audits and pass/fail) while ensuring compliance with College polices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the daily processes of the Admission & Registration Operations Team, work flow, workroom, and back office student workers.
- Oversee admission services, application processing, admission decision modules, student information systems for recruitment and admission, and queries designed to extract information to inform data-driven decision making.
- Oversee & supervise on the registration functions based on an understanding of college policies and procedures and database systems, including registration, course, and accounts receivable.
- Review and evaluate applications for admission, re-admission, and transfer, and make decisions on admittance based on established guidelines; evaluate transcripts from other colleges/universities for transfer credit.
- Manages the calendar of the Registrar including arranging appointments and meetings, identifying priorities, providing background material, organizing workflow activities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Fluent English.
- Computer skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of both undergraduate & postgraduate higher education admissions processes.
- Strong supervising and mentoring skills.
