Document and maintain system administration processes and procedures.
Work effectively and transparently with cross-functional operations support teams and customers of the Server Administration team.
Think creatively and independently to troubleshoot and devise solutions to solve complex problems
Working with system engineering team to develop, test, implement and maintain security standards for operating systems, applications, and operational processes.
Support installation of third-party products
Provide performance analysis, installation and tuning of the infrastructure including hardware, operating systems and applications

Core Windows and IT technologies: Active Directory, DNS, Network file sharing, visualization, system hardening, and security patch management.
Knowledge of IT security best practices.
Demonstrable ability to learn and adopt to new technologies quickly.
Expertise knowledge into System administration, Data center operation, troubleshooting, Network optimization.
Engineering background is preferable.
Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
VMWare and associated virtualization products.
Windows PC/Server administration (Win 7, Server 2008 R2, Win 8.x, Win 10, Server 2012, Server 2016).
Network administration associated with Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues.
LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Qtrunks).
Database Administration experience with SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL.
Vulnerability mitigation and patching of operating systems and their applications.
Demonstrated experience with the automation of monitoring and management tasks via custom scripting or programming.
Experience with data historians / process historians / process data management software as OSI PI / PIMS is a plus.
