Job Description
Software Project Manager:
- Managing software projects
- Develop project plans and schedule
- Plan resources assignments, assure resources utilization.
- Solve conflicts and evaluate performance.
- Identify project risks and mitigations
- Measure project progress against project objectives
- Determine root causes of any deviations from the plan
- Assuring customer scope /requirement is delivered
- Report project status to stakeholders periodically
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams not less than 2 years.
- PMP Certified
- Certified ITIL
- Software development, maintenance/support management
- Extensive knowledge in software development models like Agile software development, Scrum master project management methodologies and CMMI for development.
Leadership Skills:
- You will have to keep your employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for your employees.
Time Management:
- You will be working with employees, customers and management, often spinning multiple plates at once.
Math and Budgeting:
- Approved candidate will expect to keep and maintain a budget in almost every field. You will need to be confident in using math skills to make sure you know where your company's money is going.
Analytical Skills:
- You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day. You will be analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
