Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business with current and potential clients by generating leads and interest through cold-calls, networking, presentations, and office visits.
  • Schedule meetings with corporate, Educational, Public Sector, embassy and private sector organizations
  • Present International House courses and services to key decision makers
  • Learn customers' diverse, specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet those needs.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Achieves the monthly sales target
  • Cross/upsell where applicable alternative IH products and services
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Coordinate with staff across departments to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Assist Finance department on follow-up for collection of payment when requested.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Manage tasks to organize and prioritize daily and weekly sales goals.
  • Present on a weekly basis to Business Project Manager total number of leads and total number of conversions vs target
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Conduct class observations once every quarter to be fully aware of the product offering
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Maintains a strong corporate clients’ database.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • To conduct regular research on competitor market share, price positioning and market conditions
  • To conduct regular research on campuses, locations and events International House Cairo needs to have a presence at or sponsor.
  • Identify and report marketing materials needed for visits etc.
  • To identify and plan with the marketing manager along with PM events International House Cairo should attend
  • To attend the local events International House Cairo should attend

Job Requirements

  • Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
