Job Description
Job Summary:
- Correct all the linguistic mistakes in the translated and non-translated documents before publication.
Responsibilities:
- Revise the language, grammar, punctuation, and style of the Arabic text to make sure it is free of mistakes
- Revise dropped pages or mackled words
- Consult with the translator to ensure the text is free of contradiction
- Ensure the style is clear and consistent with the Arabic language standards of clarity and intelligibility
- Add comments about any style issues to be corrected by the Production team
- Handle all other tasks assigned by management
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field preferably in Arabic
- 2-4 years of experience in Arabic Proofreading and revision
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Very good command of research tools
