Job Description
- Lead and manage Architectural, MEP and BIM Departments
- Duties include managing the day to day operations of these Departments, leading a highly talented and competent staff, business development, allocating resources, planning and monitoring work flow, corporate and branch level reporting, planning and budgeting, proposal preparation
- Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor progress of projects
- Deliver products consistently, on time and on budget
- Oversee user testing and report results—adjust requirements as needed
- Work closely with project manager during all phases of development lifecycle
- Review all work produced by all teams
- Conduct regular status meetings with all necessary stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Accredited Bachelors or Masters in Architecture/Engineering
- A strong technical background in engineering including a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Professional registration and industry accreditations preferred
- Strong leadership talents and demonstrated success supervising people.
- Experience in managing multi-discipline design teams
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience using and supporting Autodesk products, including Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Revit Structure, AutoCAD and / or Navisworks
- Working knowledge of design industry workflows and production cycles
- Working knowledge of project management software
