Job Description
- Initiate and manage specific lines of news and enterprise coverage, including editing the work of our correspondents.
- Help determine broad digital objectives and identify high-impact digital opportunities. Establish desk-wide goals for digital storytelling fluency.
- Collaborate closely with the visual leadership on the desk and across the newsroom (Graphics, Photography, Design, Video, Interactive News) on ideas for large projects, and act as a point of contact for larger multimedia efforts.
- Provide leadership when it comes to conceptualizing, editing and executing new digital story forms.
- Invent, design and build new digital experiences and create new story forms that become regular elements of our coverage.
Job Requirements
- Fresh graduate or completing master degree (up to 28 years)
- Has a good command of Japanese in both writing and speaking
- Male or Female
- Has interest in Journalism and international news
- Can understand News in English
