Operations Director - Real Estate

Job Summary

• Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the Executive Management Team, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organizations technical operations functions.
• The Operations Director will be responsible for leading the Projects Division of Tabarak Holding, administering, and coordinating the core business activities of the organization, by facilitating the development of policies, goals, and objectives, in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.
• He will be responsible for directing the Projects Teams from project initiation, planning and design, execution, monitoring and controlling to close.

Responsibilities:

• Directs and develops a comprehensive risk management and due diligence framework to manage risk/mitigate projects’ associated risks
• Responsible for P&L across all projects associated business units
• Responsible for directing the Quality Control and HSE functions across all projects
• Responsible for restructuring business processes across the for the core function of the business with the objective or optimizing project performance and managing risk
• Validates new project feasibility projects and makes recommendations on feasibility outcome
• Directs the Facilities Management subsidiary and all its subsets, such as, maintenance, landscape and security
• Directs the core business operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the enterprise.
• Participates in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organizational goals and objectives and make recommendation to the Chief Executive Officer for their implementation.
• Directs the development and installation of procedures and controls, to promote communication and adequate information flow
• Leads the planning and implementation of project infrastructures and construction
• Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Defines project tasks and resource requirements
• Develops full scale project plans
• Directs and coordinate activities of project staff to ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished on time within defined quality standards
• Develops and establishes operating policies consistent with the CEO’s broad policies and objectives and insures their adequate execution.
• Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically, and reports these results to the CEO and BOD
• Insures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local regulations and laws governing business operations.
• Develops and maintains a sound plan of organization.
• Establishes policies to insure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession for those functions/business units falling under his responsibility.
• Directs the development and establishment of adequate and equitable personnel policies throughout the organization, including compensation policies and employee benefit plans.
• Insures that the interests and welfare of employees as individuals are preserved and protected.
