Job Description

  • Procurement Officer is responsible for purchasing transactions for equipment, materials, supplies, capital goods, and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting business units in assessing budgets prior to procuring goods and services
  • Sending request for quotations and preparing purchase requisitions
  • Preparing and processing of purchase orders;
  • Investigating qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received;
  • Processing goods receipts
  • Providing monthly feedback to finance on status of capital projects
  • Generating monthly procurement reports, and identifies, investigates unusual items and report accordingly;
  • Attending to queries from business units and vendors with reference to purchase orders and receipts of goods;Vacancy Announcement Procurement Officer, Exhibition Program

Job Requirements

  • University degree in in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’experience in procurement environment.
  • Knowledge of the accounting systems and processing activities.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market.
  • Talent in negotiations and networking.Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • General management experience with ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service.Excellent networking skills.
  • Excellent command of Arabic & English language (written & speaking). KNOWLEDGE,
