Job Description
- Approaching new clients who might benefit from Alkan CIT Group’s services and maximizing client in designated regions and industry through networking, courtesy and follow-up calls
- Responsible for preparing requested reports and keeping customers’ records
- Complying with Alkan CIT group’s strategies, to ensure meeting sales target
- Creating technical presentations and demonstrating ensuring it satisfies the client needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
- Providing technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of computer systems and networks
- Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of Alkan CIT systems and processes, and documenting them
- Networking with the existing customers to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in communication and electronics engineering
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the sales field
- Experienced in the automation industry, preferably with solutions background, including (DCS, PLC, ESD, SCADA, and Instrumentation, BMS, Fire & Security) solutions
- Past/Current Sectors Experience: (Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utility)
- Regional Experience (Europe, Africa, GCC) is a plus
- Proven track record in sales or people management
- Proven business acumen in driving growth of “start-up” or “ground floor” businesses
- Strong ability to manage through influence
- Skills in areas of planning and holding commercial negotiations
- Excellent verbal/written/presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate at executive management levels internally and externally
- Demonstrated experience in conflict management
- Ability and willingness to travel with typically 50% away from home.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages, French is a plus
