VACANCY:

  • We are hiring Second Line Sales Managers - SLSMs to be responsible for Greater Cairo and Upper Egypt Business respectively for the GIT Business Units as per the following details:

Job Purpose:

  • Regional Sales Manager role is all about demonstrating a model to be followed by the FLSMs through driving the sales force with personal leadership capabilities to deliver set business both qualitative and qualitative objectives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Knowledge

  • Understand regional and territory’s business objectives and strategies through full alignment and coordination with the Marketing Team
  • Maintain and expand customer base by counseling District Sales Managers and Medical Representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal/professional networks

Strategy Development/ Implementation:

  • Co-develop marketing strategy and ensure implementation as a key member of brand extended team
  • Set KPI’s and monitor strategy execution. If necessary identify gaps and rectify as appropriate
  • Analyze and interpret sales results of own products and territory and devise corrective plans , measures and actions as required
  • Evaluate all regional activities based on ROI

People Development:

  • Develop the regional team ensuring succession and manpower supply
  • Identify and set retention plans for regional talents in liaising with the HR team
  • Counsel, Mentor and Coach FLSMs as needed
  • Determine development needs for the regional team using comprehensive TNA along with the Performance management System
  • Delegate task to the team to expose, engage and develop them by doing

Achieving Business Objectives

  • Accomplish regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
  • Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales

Job Requirements

Qualification/Knowledge/Experience

  • Level of education: Life Science Degree (Pharmacy, Veterinary or Science)
  • Experience: Previous experience of Pharmaceutical SLSM role is mandatory. Multinational experience is an advantage
  • Language: English proficiency is mandated
  • IT Literacy: Professional MS-Office knowledge

  • Through understanding of the dynamics and transformation taking place at both micro and macro-environments levels
