Job Description
Job Scope:
- Responsible for the overall operation and availability of Middleware, Webserver and Application Servers.
- Identify and recommend areas for improving operational efficiencies.
Job Duties:
- Maintain health and availability of all Middlewares, Webservers, LDAPs and Application Servers.
- Create and execute repeatable maintenance and monitoring procedures for Middlewares.
- Install, Configure and troubleshoot Middlewares, LDAPs, Webservers and Application Servers of Multiple Vendors.
- Collaborate with infrastructure team on identifying improvements to the environment.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the following:
- SSL Certification Configuration and Setup on WebServers and Application Servers
- Experience in IBM Websphere Application Server/Weblogic/Tomcat, WebServers and LDAPs
- Understanding of the JVM and how it operates is a PLUS
- Experience in B2B Messaging technology such as IBM Websphere MQ and IBM Websphere Message Broker is a PLUS
- Knowledge of Application load-balancers or any other hardware load-balancers is a PLUS
- Knowledge with DBMS administration and tuning.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge in e-Payment and banking is preferred.
- Ability to create descriptive and effective technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) with various level of stakeholders, from developer to senior management.
- Desire to quickly pick up and learn a large collection of technologies.
