Duties & Responsibilities

Understand requirements, Design, Build, integrate, test and support web applications backend databases management systems [DBMS] i.e. ERP, e-commerce, etc.
Develop (or reverse engineering for existing) sophisticated financial and industrial application’s backend DBMS and generate a standard ERD
Collaborate with UI/UX development team for “View” review
Collaborate with middleware team for APIs “Control” review and generate well performance ANSI-SQL to be used by middleware team
Documentation and deployment

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum grade of Very Good
A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working with similar position duties is required. Fresh graduate with proven knowledge is acceptable
Must prove his knowledge by showing actual references for delivered projects
Multitasking with ability to work well under pressure
Proficient in writing efficient, maintainable and reusable code
Proficient in design, data structures, problem-solving, and debugging
Creative thinking, detail orientation, manual dexterity
Strong oral and written communication

Qualifications

Proficient in ANSI-SQL
Well knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL is a must
Ability to create views, stored procedures, triggers and DB APIs
Ability to monitor the DB performance and apply best practice tuning approach, i.e. create new indices, logs, etc
DB administration i.e. Backup, restore, re-indexing
Ability to secure DB connection through a trusted access matrix
Full awareness about Data warehouse, data mining concepts
Experience working and developing in Linux, Redhat
Experience with Git and GitHub
