Job Description
- Support the project by conducting the analysis of multiple complex cost proposals. Analyze the contractor’s proposed estimated costs for reasonableness, allow-ability and allocability by reviewing all significant direct and indirect cost elements
- Conduct cost realism and probable cost analysis by reviewing the contractor’s methodology in arriving at the proposed cost of each element and provide summary of finding documentation of all cost elements and proposed amounts.
- Conduct analytical reviews on various cost elements. Prepare a cost/price analysis report of conclusions reached, for contracts involving complex requirements.
- Evaluate the contractor’s cost proposals, analyze contractor’s past performance on, cost control on similar procurements; use of standards and/or other quantitative techniques in producing like or similar items.
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with project management functions like cost, schedule and risk management
- BA/BS or equivalent
- 3+ years of cost analysis experience
- Experience in Excel and Access Databases
- Understanding of background business applications (Oracle) and data analysis platforms (Tableau)
