Job Description
- Develop, prepare and plan teaching material
- Conduct placement tests to the new applicants to determine their proficiency level
- Contribute regularly to the professional development meetings and training of the teaching staff
- Assess students’ progress
- Provide effective classroom management that enhances student learning
- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational matters
- Hold counseling sessions with students when necessary
- Implement a variety of instructional delivery methods.
- Create quizzes and tests to assess students’ performance
- Make use of technology and virtual learning tools to extend the learning experience outside the classroom.
- Substitute teachers as timetabled by the DOS.
- Complete and maintain appropriate student registration, attendance, and assessment records,and ensure timely submission of data.
- Attend staff meetings
- Cooperate with other teachers in the department to exchange knowledge and experience
- Provide admin support and perform other duties as assigned by the DOS
Job Requirements
- University degree
- Teaching certificate from an accredited institute; CELTA, TrinityTESOL.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Experience in teaching different English curricula; Business English, General English, Conversation, ESP
- Experience in teaching Test Prep courses (preferable bot essential).
