Job Description
- Review and revise the contract in order to identify the contract risks
- Advise the tendering team with the contract risks and assist in developing risk justification plan
- Attend negotiation meetings; discuss and/or request modifications, additions and changes to the contracts clauses and terms.
- Develop, review and administer contracts’ reports and/or contracts’ summaries with the contracts team or any other respected team
- Assist the procurement team in forecasting their needs based on the contract
- Support in issuing the client invoices, with respect to the contract terms and conditions, and conduct the necessary meetings till the first payment
- Draft claims and/or narratives to be submitted to the Client
- Create log templates for contractual letters variation
- Input all claims and their notices in the log template regularly
- Prepare and submit claims to the respective party
- Prepare contract amendments/ additions for subcontracts
- Notify any respected party with any changes which might affect the project main plan
- Responsible for ensuring proper documentation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in construction management or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience as a contracts engineer
- Knowledge of the FIDIC standard form of contract is a must
