Job Description
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate teaching, support and diagnostic resources for Special Educational Needs students and those considered to be Gifted and Talented.
- Ensure the efficient running of the SEN department and the management of SEN staff and resources
- Consult with parents, staff and students and draw up Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where necessary to address individual needs
- Ensure the efficient running of the SEN department and the management of SEN staff and resources.
Job Requirements
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Previous experience as a SEN Coordinator, & in a leadership role is a must
- Able to make effective relationships with parents.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus.
- BA in an Education related field is a plus.
- Excellent command in using Microsoft Office, and Smart Boards
- Professional appearance
