Job Description
Equipment Development and Implementation
- In-house development of manufacturing equipment and fixtures to support early stage prototype builds
- Design and realization of manufacturing equipment and fixtures for medium and high volume production
- Management of suppliers during specification, design, buyoff and installation of manufacturing equipment
- Characterization and validation of new equipment and fixtures for introduction to the production floor
Process Development and Implementation
- Development of new manufacturing processes
- Creation of detailed Manufacturing Instructions to support new processes and equipment
- Layout of production workstations for product flow, ergonomics and efficiency
- Specification of hand tools for assembly tasks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience with background in manufacturing environment, including but not limited to CNC machines "Steel injection"
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Solid Works
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask while performs well in a demanding environment
- Ability to read, interpret, and edit drawings
- Team-oriented person with strong interpersonal, communication and cross-functional working skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
