We are looking for a Test Automation Lead.
Here’s what an ordinary day looks like, you will:
- Lead and influence the direction of the automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization
- Decide what needs to be automated & how
- Lead all Automation Testing activities including Tool selection, automation framework design, implementation & scripting tests for different POS applications
- Perform proof of concepts (POCs) on areas to be automated
- Develop strategic/tactical testing deliverables such as Test Strategies & Plans across multiple lines of business
- Perform high-level and detailed test estimates for manual/automation testing
- Oversee the development of test scripts
- Lead and coach manual/automated testing analysis and design
- Oversee the identification and preparation test data & manage Test data during the course of the project
- Architect parts of the automation framework and make enhancement to the exiting Framework
- Understand feature requirements and translate to test cases and test automation.
- Executing test cases from scripts. You'll work through these accurately and efficiently, giving excellent attention to detail so that you can identify bugs and potential for improvement.
- Drive Test Automation road map and support all tolls and automation efforts
Job Requirements
You’re going to need this to carry out this job:
- Experience of Java specifically the user of JUnit
- Experience of using Selenium and the Web Driver for Selenium
- Experience of Git/TFS or other Source Control System
- Able to construct and carry out basic SQL queries and carry out straightforward command line-based tasks.
- Comfortable working with things like log files and XML, HTML and CSS.
- Quick to pick up new systems and become fairly expert in using them. You will need to use Microsoft SharePoint and Excel, JIRA and Confluence
- Minimum 5 years' experience in QA Automation, in an Agile environment
- Experience managing engineers in cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience in creating & executing automation scripts
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field
